About

Hlin is a Norwegian design studio founded in 2021 by Julia Conley and Hannah Hansen. Our work is driven by a shared interest in material, form, and expression — and a desire to create objects that balance function with a strong visual presence.

We work hands-on and across different fields, always open to trying new ideas. Our goal is to rethink Scandinavian design by bringing in bolder shapes, richer colors and more tactile textures.

In 2023, we launched our first collection of handblown glass lamps, made in partnership with Holmegaard Glassworks in Copenhagen. Each lamp is crafted using water-soaked wooden molds, making every piece truly unique.
